From our use of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified papers to the wind turbine that powers our headquarters, TF Publishing takes our responsibility to the environment very seriously. In fact, the Indiana Office of Energy and Defense Development have even recognized TF Publishing for our green initiatives.</p> <p>In all, we incorporate a variety of earth-friendly programs:</p> <p><b>Paper</b>: Our company uses products carrying the FSC label that are independently certified as coming from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations &ndash; a label that is increasingly meaningful to today’s consumers. The processing of this paper is also chlorine free.</p> <p><b>Inks</b>: Environmentally safe inks that are audited by a third party company to insure their environmental safety are used on all of our products.</p> <p><b>Displays</b>: Our corrugate display supplier is certified by both the Sustainable Forest Initiative and FSC (only provider in the U.S. with both certifications). Approximately 65% of the paper for the displays comes from post-consumer waste.</p> <p><b>Building</b>: A wind turbine powers our headquarters with renewable energy.</p> <p><b>Recycling</b>: The company has initiated a first of its kind (for Indianapolis) recycling program for its own use and the rest of the business park.
